The Xi Iota Chapter of
Sigma Delta Pi at Radford U was founded by former chapter adviser Dr. Leonor A. Ulloa in 1980. With more than 30 years, Xi Iota members have actively sought to expand the study of the Spanish
language and culture of Spain and Latin America. In each ceremony of
initiation, Xi Iota renews this commitment to honor those who attain excellence
in the study of the Spanish language and in the study of the literature and
culture of the Spanish-speaking people.
